Learn how to use our QR code generator to create custom QR codes
Select Content Type
Choose the type of QR code from the dropdown: Text, URL, WiFi, vCard, Email, Phone, or SMS. Each type is designed for a specific purpose and will format your content appropriately.
Enter Content
Enter the corresponding content based on your selection. For example, if WiFi, enter network name and password. For vCard, fill in contact details. The more complete your information, the more useful your QR code will be.
Customize Style
Adjust the QR code colors, size, margin, and error correction level to meet your needs. Choose high-contrast colors for better scanning reliability. Consider where the QR code will be used when selecting size.
Preview QR Code
The preview area on the right will show the generated QR code in real-time. Check that it looks correct and test scanning it with your phone before downloading.
Download or Copy
Click download button to save as PNG or SVG, or use copy function to paste directly into other applications. PNG is best for digital use, while SVG is ideal for printing at any scale.
Tips & Tricks
- Choose medium to high error correction (15% or 25%) to ensure your QR code remains scannable even if partially damaged
- Use high contrast color combinations for better scanning success rate - dark foreground on light background works best
- WiFi QR codes allow guests to connect to your network without sharing the password - perfect for cafes, hotels, and offices
- vCard QR codes enable quick sharing of contact information to mobile phones - great for business cards and networking events
